In addition to our live radio we also now have a live TV page:
https://0xfdb.tv/ (link has been added to the sites homepage and desktop navbar)

Also, it has multiple channels! The main channel is:
1. "Adult Swim"
>my own idea of a late night lineup, complete with Adult Swim bumps and some generic 2000's commercials

The other channels are just marathons of the following shows:
2. Yu Yu Hakusho
3. MXC
4. X-Files

The TV streams are likely to go down occasionally (my encoding GPU is on a shared host that needs to be rebooted a few times a month)
Typically, if the streams are down it'll only be for a few minutes at a time (unless my power is out or something)

the only one im aware of with that issue currently is Mushishi Season 2

if thats the one youre talking about - ive already fixed it, but to put the fix into effect immediately i would have to reset channel 1's playout - that would set every show back to episode 1 (longer shows like JoJo are not done yet)

when all the shows are completed the playout will reset itself and Mushishi Season 2's new metadata will get written to the next playout, so on the channels next "full-loop" that season will have subs

i noticed i was caching the stream data a little too aggressively, so sometimes the stream would "step on its own toes" for lack of a better explanation. you people are supposed to tell me this shit. i made lots of backend changes so the stream will be even more stable now.

- stream data caching is way tighter than before
- i set transcoding to be always-on (less playback delay)
- stream data is being served directly from ram now (lower latency across chunks)
- the web player got some small enhancements added too
>most notable web player enhancement is that the URL now supports channel selectors

removed the cropping that would happen to some media on channels 1, 5, and 6 (if media on those channels is not 16:9 then itll get scaled and padded now instead of having edges cut off)

adjusted channel 4 (X-Files) to 720p (my rips for this are not 1080p)

also removed the cropping on channel 3 (MXC) and adjusted the resolution on that channel to the shows native resolution too (my MXC is a DVD rip)

at 1 AM Eastern Time every night all the channels streams get restarted now - i set this up a few nights ago but forgot to post about it
<basically, this resets ffmpeg sessions in case an error earlier in the day broke any channels playback (i noticed this can happen to a channel after days of constant encoding)
>if you are watching when this happens, just change to a different channel and back, or just refresh the page
essentially, if you get any sort of playback error then doing the above should fix it

made a fuckload of changes - it is now extremely easy for me to add custom live sources as their own channels

added a stream selector and all of the cameras to the FISHTANK channel

also added live streams of NHK World (with real episode data!) and North Korean TV as their own channels
