I'd like to start this thread by saying that I am not the person that recorded the video attached; I got the file after requesting it directly
Thing is, shiet like this is common, and It has happened to a big chunk of the people in the server. (Happened to me twice while exploring abandoned towns made by the oldest players of the bunch, for example)
Most of the documented sightings have taken place in very isolated areas, far away from spawn, which in older versions of the game usually means seeing little bugs and dealing with more lag, but definitely not something like whats shown in the footage
The server in question is OSMC, which usually is very cozy, until it goes loco
Now, asides from what I'm showing, I'd be really nice to know about your own personal stories. Much better if you have actual proof, like i do

Very disturbing and creepy happening on the server.
I'm not surprised it's in the older parts of the server; once comfy and full of life but now forgotten and abandoned, it tends to attract energies beyond what normal science could explain.
I'm not competent enough to say what could be the origin of such energy inhabiting the server, especially only with the video material.
But I can conclude by this proof that it must be haunted and your computer could now be at risk of being haunted too as you have been in second hand contact with the material.
I have seen a similar case before where squid ink was dropped behind the player as if someone was following behind in their footsteps, but there was no one there! And sword strikes nor arrows fired would hit anything. We threw blocks everywhere but nothing was picked up either.
location was at an old player built temple of cobble stone with no windows, similar to Aztec temples and close by was an NPC village, but all villagers were gone, and crops were left unharvested.
One similarity I instantly recognized was the sound of the creeper and the cow, they were present too on that server by the village when we explored.
We don't log in there any more after this and we don't talk about it with others. People don't understand and even though they listened, we see that they don't believe us.
