>>1>>2>>3Hello all!
As of today: 03/04/2026 I have had my Moondrop Aria 2's delivered.
So far they have been quire decent compared to my CCA CRA's, the sound stage is a lot nicer.
They are very decent for electronic music, and a lot of death metal. For some metal songs I have come to an issue where certain sounds i.e. cymbals sound a bit 'splashy' I'm told this is because the drivers are coated in ceramic.
These IEMs also have an issue with Classical Music, and Opera. Two Genres I do enjoy when I hear the right pieces. The dynamics of the vocals are hard to represent and you do not hear the full spectrum of the singers voice.
As for the Orchestra sections, you can hear the sound dynamics and the positions of where the different sections are sat. However, certain sections become muddy and are less prominent than others.
I'm also aware it's quite hard to engineer the correct sound stage for said genre's.
My conclusion is that I shall buy more IEMs, I will eventually have a set per core genre. The next IEMs I have settled on are the Truthear Pure's, they look quite good and I'm told they perform quite well.
Thanks.
